This tool has quickly become one of my favorite, must have sewing tools. A stilettos is a third hand when at the sewing machine, allowing you to hold fabric close to the needle without the risk of poking your fingers.
What I especially love about this tool, is the pressing tip. The smooth edge is a little rough and the perfect size to press those thick seams (I'm looking at you waterproof canvas and vinyl). The tool also has flattened sides, so if it starts to roll, it will stop itself! No more avoiding sharp objects falling on your feet!
